This Ragi Cake/Idli Batter is multipurpose. You can use this batter to make Dosa as well by adjusting the consistency (adding water to the batter). You can adjust the water amount here depending on the consistency of the batter.
Mix Curd and Ragi together. You can add little bit of rice flour. Mix very well with a spoon or with your hands. Break the lumps if any. Mix to a smooth batter. Cover the bowl with a lid and keep it in a warm place to ferment.Keep an idli steamer filled with water over high heat. Grease idli plates with oil and fill the cavities with the batter.
